Cala Jondal (South East)
Most famously home to the infamous Blue Marlinbeach club and bar. You can reach Cala Jondal by taxi in about 20 minutes from Ibiza Town or Talamanca…but the most stylish way to arrive is by boat. There are no hotels in Cala Jondal and with its rocky beach the only reason to visit is really for the beach club – although we also recommend Yemanya next door.

Ibiza Town (South)
The Dalt Vila (the medieval castle that dominates the skyline as you approach Ibiza Town) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wide choice of restaurants and bars and always a vibrant, friendly and cosmopolitan atmosphere. The Marina is home to some very impressive yachts. The nightclubs of Pacha, Lio and Boom are close by. There is no beach in Ibiza Town.

Playa den Bossa (South)
Fast becoming the “Las Vegas” of the White Isle…OK so no casino’s just yet (but we’ll wager that is coming soon) but the beach front has been transformed over the past few years with an array of beach clubs and hotels where the focus is all about the music. Playa den Bossa is home to Space – quite probably the best nightclub in Europe.

Santa Agnes (North West)
Get right into the heart of rural Ibiza this small village just 2 cafes. Head to San Rafael or Ibiza Town for a choice of restaurants. Approximately 30 minutes from Ibiza Town and 35 minutes from Ibiza Airport.

San Antonio (South West)
San Antonio and San Antonio Bay get a bad press.. and some of it deservedly so as the mass tourism boom of the 1970’s destroyed any sense of culture and heritage of this once quaint fishing village. Fortunately for those of us that love Ibiza it’s easy to avoid what is ultimately just a small area of the island. However San Antonio is not all bad. At Sundown head to Café Mambo / Café del Mar for amazing sunsets and a great atmosphere, with a little street (or beach) theatre thrown in.

San Josep (Sant Josep) (West)
The town of San Josep is a great location for exploring some of the beaches on the West coast. There are quite a few villas in the area, some within walking distance to the beach, others in a more rural and secluded location. And with San Josep being only 15 minutes by car to Ibiza Town, it is a great choice for combining the quiet and relaxed side of the island with the buzz of the capital.
