Xarc Agroturisme is a relaxed boutique hotel hidden in the rural Ibiza countryside. Ideal for a “get away from it all” break. The resort of Santa Eulalia is about 5 kilometres drive but a million miles away from the tranquillity of this traditional rural Ibiza finca. This family owned and run hotel has only 9 rooms, with all but one in the main finca building. The suite is in a separate building close by.

The hotel grows apricots, almonds and oranges in the extensive farmland surrounding the hotel.  The main farmhouse building itself dates back to the early 1900’s but today it has been transformed into a boutique rural retreat. Relax by the pool, or if it’s not too hot for you then take a hike! There are a number of walking and cycling routes and some areas that are best explored on two feet or two wheels. There is very good cycle hire shop in nearby Santa Eulalia which can deliver modern mountain bikes to the hotel.

The hotel is beautifully simple. There are limited facilities but with the location it is worth bearing in mind that the hotel is close to the Atzaro hotel. So it may appeal to those looking to stay somewhere a little quieter (and lets be honest, quite a bit cheaper) but you can always use the facilities of the spa (for their cost of a day pass of course), or sample the restaurants at Atzaro. There is also a good spa at the 5 star Aguas de Ibiza, which again, you could visit and pay the day rate as a non-guest.

Alternatively spend your time experiencing the “real Ibiza” and the small villages and “off the beaten track” restaurants. Discover the small beaches at Cala Nova, Cala Llenya and Aiguas Blancas. Some of the beach restaurants are within easy reach including Fish & Tonic and Atzaro Beach at Cala Nova, and Amante beach Club near Cala Llonga.

Ibiza Town is 18 kilometres (24 minute drive).

Relax, switch off and reconnect with yourself, your partner and with nature, and reward yourself with some much needed and valuable “me time”..
