Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza opened in 2014 and is the first Hard Rock Hotel to open in Europe. Located right on the beach the hotel offers similar experience to the other Hard Rock Hotels around the World: Family friendly, cool vibe, bars, restaurants, music memorabilia, spa and swim up rooms to name just a few of the facilities… but with this being Ibiza you can also expect a little more. Regular music events starring Rock & Pop “A-Listers” will be playing live so all guests with a room booked at the hotel will have free entry… and those guests staying in some of the suites will also be able to enjoy the events from their comfort of their balcony. Some events will take place at Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel next door, and again Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza guests will have free entry.  

Some of the acts that performed in 2014 includes Nile Rodgers and Chic, Kylie Minogue & Snoop Dog to name just a few... it’s an outdoor festival without the wellies!

This is a family friendly hotel so will appeal to families – and in particular those with notoriously difficult to impress teenagers.

For younger children “Roxity” is a kids club aimed at all children with different activities depending on the age range. Please note that for children under 2 a charge applies. Pre-booking of the kids club is recommended and is essential for under 2 year olds.

The spa, Rock Suite Spa, covers an area of 1350 square metres. There is a water circuit including sauna and steam room, and a separate outside pool and relaxing area. The spa is adult only (18 years and above). There is a charge of €20 per person to use the spa (correct as at December 2014 and subject to change). Massages and treatments are available for an additional fee.

The rooms at the hotel are situated over 2 buildings: A horseshoe shape building which houses most of the suites, the swim up rooms and the main stage, and the Tower building next door which faces the other building on one side and the Ushuaia Tower Hotel to the other side. Most rooms have a lateral sea view.

There are 2 main swimming pools (in addition to the one at the spa). A pool at the Tower building hotel and one next to the stage area which has a children’s section leaving the rest of the pool and for the adults.
The swim up rooms have their own shared pool area just for use by the guests staying in the Swim-up Rooms. There are 3 swim-up pools. These rooms are only available for adults.

The hotel is located right on the long sandy beach of Playa den Bossa. The Beach Club at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will serve food & drinks from early until late, and there are a number of restaurants and bars within the hotel, and many more just a short walk from the hotel.

And when you are ready to explore further afield then Ibiza Town is only 10 minutes away by taxi, and the amazing beaches at Es Cavallet and Ses Salinas are the same distance in the opposite direction, but we think you’ll find everything you need on your doorstep so you may not have much time to venture too far from this impressive high-end hotel.
